We are looking for a professional and customer-oriented individual with strong communication and organizational skills. Prior experience in automotive service advising is preferred. The ideal candidate will excel at explaining technical repairs clearly and building lasting customer relationships.

Basic Requirements For Service Advisor

• High school diploma or GED (some shops prefer some college or certifications)
• Valid driver’s license
• Clean background (optional, depending on your policy)
• Basic computer skills (shop management software, estimates, invoices)

Experience

(Preferred but not always required)

• 1–3 years in:

• Auto repair shop
• Dealership service department
• Customer service/sales role

• Knowledge of:

• Basic vehicle systems (engine, brakes, suspension, etc.)
• Repair order process

Key Skills (MOST IMPORTANT)

• Strong communication (explain repairs in simple terms)
• Sales ability (recommend services without being pushy)
• Customer service mindset
• Organization & multitasking
• Problem-solving (handling upset customers, delays, etc.)

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Technician with strong diagnostic abilities. ASE certification or equivalent experience is highly preferred. The successful candidate must demonstrate reliability, attention to detail, and a commitment to quality workmanship.
